Winchester Bird Art Competition Winners

We are delighted that three children in year three were chosen, from nearly two hundred entries from Winchester schools, to receive prizes for their drawing and painting of birds. Willing children chose their lunchtimes to work enthusiastically with a teacher on producing pictures of birds for this first ever "Birds in Winchester" Art Competition run by The Cameron Bespolka Trust.

We were even more delighted when one the girls was chosen as the overall winner of the competition.

On Wednesday 14th March, the girls had a great time attending the prizegiving event at The Pilgrims School. The prizes were well-received and much appreciated, especially as they were centred on the theme of birds and provided by the RSPCB.

We can't wait to see the pictures published in the next edition of the Hampshire Chronicle.

We also look forward to taking part in the competition next year!
