All Saints C of E Primary School Curriculum Statement 2014
At All Saints we believe that our curriculum is based on the principles that children learn best when they are motivated and enthused by exciting, relevant, interesting, challenging and rich knowledge, skills and understanding. We want our curriculum to enable children to communicate clearly and accurately their ideas, feelings, strengths, areas for development, curiosity, creativity and to recognise their individuality regardless of their age, gender, race, ability, beliefs or disability. We believe that an effective curriculum promotes the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of pupils at the school and of society. We want our children to be confident, successful independent learners with the essential skills to prepare them well for the responsibilities, experiences and enjoyment of later life. Our curriculum is well supported by the seven schools aims which focus everyone on the areas of success, standards, share, support, safe, strength and secure.
