Phonics in 2018
Fewer than 70% of pupils met the expected standard in phonics in Yr 1.
In 2017/18, the rate of overall absence (4.00%) was slighly above the national average of schools with a similar level of deprivation (3.80%).
There were no permanent exclusions in the last three years. The national average in each of these three years was zero.
